I am a cardiologist and cardiac electrophysiologist specializing in the diagnosis and interventional treatment of cardiac arrhythmias. My clinical and research interests focus on innovative approaches to the management of heart rhythm disorders, including catheter ablation, pacemaker implantation, and implantable cardioverter-defibrillator therapy.
My research program focuses particularly on emerging technologies for catheter ablation of atrial fibrillation and ventricular tachycardia. I am currently involved in several clinical trials evaluating novel ablation techniques and technologies, with the goal of improving procedural efficacy, safety, and long-term clinical outcomes.
In parallel, I conduct translational research evaluating next-generation ablation technologies, including pulsed field ablation, ultra-low-temperature cryoablation, and needle-based ablation. This work aims to better understand the biophysical mechanisms, lesion characteristics, safety profiles, and potential clinical applications of these emerging technologies, bridging laboratory research with advances in interventional electrophysiology.
