Dr. Ali Zentner earned her medical degree from McMaster University and completed her residency in Internal Medicine at the University of Calgary, where she also undertook an additional year of Cardiology training. She is a Diplomate of the American Board of Obesity Medicine.

Dr. Zentner began practicing Internal Medicine in Alberta in 2001. While in Lethbridge, she founded the Southern Alberta Obesity Clinic, the region’s first multidisciplinary obesity clinic. During the same period, she co-founded and served as Co-Director of the Southern Alberta Heart Function Clinic while maintaining a busy practice in Internal Medicine and Intensive Care.
