Donald Ricci, M.D. is the CEO and co-founder of Evasc, a Vancouver-based medical device company developing innovative endovascular treatments for cerebral aneurysms. He trained in cardiology at Stanford University and the University of California, San Diego, and has more than 35 years of experience in coronary intervention and structural heart disease.

Dr. Ricci previously served as Director of the Cardiovascular Medicine Program at Vancouver Hospital and is an Emeritus Clinical Professor of Medicine at the University of British Columbia. Throughout his career, he has combined clinical practice, academic leadership, and medical innovation to advance cardiovascular and neurovascular care.

A prolific inventor, Dr. Ricci is the co-inventor of numerous medical devices and holds an extensive portfolio of patents. He has broad experience in developing and licensing medical technologies through strategic partnerships with leading companies in the vascular and medical device industries. Under his leadership, Evasc has focused on pioneering novel technologies that improve the treatment of complex cerebral
