Dr. Geoffrey Gotto Urologic Oncologist
Dr. Geoffrey Gotto is a urologic oncologist and Clinical Professor in the Departments of Surgery and Oncology at the University of Calgary, where he also serves as Director of the Urologic Oncology Fellowship.
Dr. Gotto completed his undergraduate education and urology residency at the University of British Columbia (UBC). During his Bachelor of Science (Honours), he was a varsity rugby player, an Academic All-Canadian, a UBC Science Scholar, and a recipient of the UBC President’s Scholarship. He was also named a Wesbrook Scholar—UBC’s highest student designation—and received the Hamber Scholarship in Medicine after graduating first in his medical class.
He subsequently completed a prestigious fellowship in urologic oncology at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in New York and earned a Master of Public Health (MPH) from Harvard University.
