Dr. Ramesh Sahjpaul graduated from the University of Toronto Faculty of Medicine. After completing postgraduate training at Queen’s University, he finished his neurosurgical residency at the University of Western Ontario in London, Ontario. He then completed a fellowship in epilepsy surgery and joined the University of Western Ontario as a neurosurgeon with a focus on epilepsy surgery. Seeking further subspecialty expertise, he undertook an additional fellowship in spine surgery at the University of Tennessee before being recruited to the Combined Neurosurgical and Orthopedic Spine Program at the University of British Columbia (UBC), where he dedicated his practice to the management of both intradural and extradural spinal disorders.
