• He completed his Internal Medicine residency in Rochester, New York, where he was a four-time recipient of Rochester Academy of Medicine awards.
• He completed his Endocrinology fellowship at Harbor-UCLA/City of Hope in Los Angeles, California.
• He is described by his clinic and professional organizations as the first Canadian physician triple board-certified by American Boards in Endocrinology, Internal Medicine, and Obesity Medicine.
• He holds Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada (FRCPC) and Fellow of the American College of Endocrinology (FACE) credentials, among others.

His areas of practice include diabetes, obesity and medical weight management, thyroid disorders, osteoporosis/osteopenia, cholesterol and lipid disorders, PCOS, reproductive hormone disorders, calcium disorders, pituitary and adrenal conditions, and related endocrine diseases.

He is also involved in clinical research and clinical trials, particularly in diabetes, obesity and other metabolic/endocrine conditions.

Dr. Jain has received several professional recognitions, including:

He has also contributed to Canadian clinical guidelines, including work related to diabetes and mental health and obesity pharmacotherapy.
