Dr. Zorn

Dr. Zorn is a distinguished urologist and internationally recognized expert in minimally invasive and robotic urologic surgery, with a particular focus on benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH) and advanced surgical treatment of the enlarged prostate. He is a former Associate Professor of Urology at the University of Montreal (CHUM) and the University of Chicago.

Throughout his career, Dr. Zorn has been at the forefront of innovation in urologic surgery. He was the first physician in Canada and Québec to introduce and perform several emerging BPH technologies, including GreenLight XPS, Rezūm, iTind, Optilume, and Aquablation. He has also been actively involved in clinical research and investigational device trials, including ProVee and Urocross.

Beyond BPH surgery, Dr. Zorn has pioneered the adoption of cutting-edge technologies designed to improve efficiency, precision, patient safety, and access to care. He was among the first in Canada to introduce point-of-care ultrasound technologies, including Clarius and Butterfly iQ, as well as disposable AMBU cystoscopes to facilitate faster and safer patient care.

Dr. Zorn is among the first physicians worldwide to be recognized as a Center of Excellence for Rezūm and GreenLight vaporization and the Vapor Incision Technique (VIT). He is also an international speaker, surgical trainer, and educator, sharing his expertise in advanced BPH techniques with physicians around the world.

His extensive surgical experience includes more than 2,500 TURP procedures, 3,000 GreenLight PVP procedures, 1,000 HoLEP procedures, and 1,200 Aquablation procedures. He has also performed more than 2,000 Rezūm procedures, 300 Optilume BPH TURBO procedures, 250 iTind procedures, and 300 UroLift procedures, while participating in clinical studies involving more than 30 Zenflow procedures.
