Dr. Allard completed his undergraduate studies at Queen’s University, followed by medical school at the University of Toronto. He then pursued his urology residency at McMaster University.

He went on to complete a urologic oncology fellowship at Harvard University, along with the Clinical Effectiveness Program at the Harvard School of Public Health.

After completing his training, Dr. Allard returned to his hometown of Burlington, Ontario. He previously served as Director of the Halton Clinical Teaching Unit for the McMaster urology residency program and is currently the Head of Urology at Joseph Brant Hospital.
