Clinical and Research Focus

His clinical practice and research focus on urologic oncology, with a particular specialization in the treatment of prostate cancer. He is also experienced in robotic-assisted surgery, using advanced robotic technologies to enhance surgical precision and patient outcomes.

His research explores the application of artificial intelligence in surgical pathology, particularly stimulated Raman histology (SRH). This innovative technology enables rapid, real-time analysis of tissue during surgery and may assist surgeons in identifying cancerous tissue and assessing surgical margins intraoperatively.

Education and Training

He completed his urology residency and medical training at the University of British Columbia before pursuing a Urologic Oncology Fellowship at NYU Langone Health in New York. He also earned a Master of Science in Clinical Investigation from New York University, strengthening his expertise in clinical research and translational medicine.
