Gordon Bohlmann has been practicing as a physiotherapist since 2000, with extensive experience in both private practice and hospital settings across South Africa and Canada. His clinical career has also included working at the Sports Science Institute of South Africa, where he gained valuable experience treating and supporting national and international athletes.

Before becoming a physiotherapist, Gordon spent four years studying and working in sports science and exercise physiology. This foundation provided him with a unique understanding of human movement, sports biomechanics, and the relationship between movement dysfunction and injury. He continues to draw on this knowledge in his clinical practice, taking a comprehensive approach to assessment, treatment, and rehabilitation.

Gordon is the owner and director of Marpole Physiotherapy and Arbutus Physiotherapy and Wellness.

In addition to his clinical practice, Gordon has been actively involved in professional education. He has served as a consulting member of the Institute for the Study and Treatment of Pain (ISTOP) education committee and is a clinical instructor for the University of British Columbia’s Gunn Intramuscular Stimulation (IMS) education program.

In 2013, Gordon became a Registered Musculoskeletal Sonographer (RMSK), further expanding his diagnostic and clinical skill
