Dr. Dollin completed his Honours Bachelor of Science and Doctor of Medicine degrees at the University of Toronto, followed by an ophthalmology residency at the University of Ottawa, where he served as Co-Chief Resident. He then pursued a Retina Fellowship at Wills Eye Hospital in Philadelphia.

His academic and clinical research focuses on age-related macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy, and surgical outcomes in retinal detachment repair, macular hole surgery, and secondary intraocular lens fixation.
