Dr. Grant Lum has been practicing Sports Medicine and Performing Arts Medicine since 1994 and is recognized as a leading authority in the field. Throughout his career, he has remained committed to clinical excellence, education, mentorship, and advancing the practice of sports medicine.
Dr. Lum serves as Team Physician for Squash Canada and as a consultant to the NHL Players’ Association. He is also a Lecturer in the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Toronto and Medical Director of the Fitness and Lifestyle Management Program at George Brown College, where he contributes to curriculum development and professional education.
A respected medical communicator, Dr. Lum has served as a sports medicine expert and blogger for CTV News and regularly contributes to The Weather Network, where he explores the relationship between weather, health, and human performance.
His expertise and insights have been featured extensively across Canadian media, including the Canadian Press, The Toronto Star, The Globe and Mail, The Medical Post, Healthwatch Magazine, and Healthwise Magazine.
