Dr. Foti is originally from Ontario and earned his medical degree from McGill University in 1989. He then gradually made his way west, completing his residency in Neurology at the University of British Columbia before undertaking a two-year fellowship in Behavioural Neurology at UCLA.

Since 1996, Dr. Foti has been a staff neurologist at Vancouver Hospital and serves as a Clinical Assistant Professor at the University of British Columbia (UBC). His clinical practice focuses on Behavioural and General Neurology, with particular expertise in dementia and traumatic brain injury.

Dr. Foti is also actively involved in clinical research through the Clinical Trials Program at the Clinic for Alzheimer Disease and Related Disorders at UBC Hospital, contributing to the advancement of treatments for Alzheimer’s disease and related conditions.
